OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap is a collaborative mapping project. Its website provides a map and access to information about the open geographic data contributed by its community. It is useful for exploring places, understanding the project and finding supported mapping resources, with data use governed by the project's published licence and attribution requirements.

It is useful when a place or journey needs to be connected with route, service or geographic information. Its focus includes Open geographic data, Community mapping and Maps and project resources, helping a traveller identify which part of the service addresses the actual location and movement question involved.
