The AFL website is an official entry for Australian Football League news, fixtures, results and competition information. Supporters can follow clubs, matches and the wider season through reporting and available match coverage. It is useful for checking the league's own schedules and updates rather than relying only on a general sports news service.
The site is useful for a sport-related enquiry about participation, a team, an event or a competition. Its main areas include Official league news, Fixtures and results and Clubs and match coverage, which help connect the broad sporting subject with the particular information a player, supporter or other visitor needs.
The official AFL site includes sections for Match Centre, Ladder and Stats.
The linked official iOS listing is AFL Live Official App, published by Telstra Limited. The Australian App Store page provides the current description, device compatibility and version information for that application. It is a useful reference when identifying the mobile product associated with this website.
