Substack

Substack supports newsletters and independent publications, helping writers distribute their work and build relationships with subscribers and readers.

Substack provides publishing and subscription-related functions around individual writers and publications. A publication's own page helps explain its subject, author and offering. That is useful context for a reader choosing what to follow as well as for a writer investigating how the platform supports an ongoing publication and its audience.

The useful starting point is the people, community or subject a visitor wants to follow. Its main functions include Newsletters, Independent publications and Reader communities, helping distinguish the kinds of shared spaces, published material and interaction available through this particular platform.
