Flickr

Flickr is a photography sharing service where people publish images, organise collections and participate in photography communities. Its website is useful for discovering photographers and visual work or managing a personal photo collection. Individual images have their own rights and licensing information, which should be checked when considering reuse.

The useful starting point is the people, community or subject a visitor wants to follow. Its main functions include Photography sharing, Albums and collections and Photographer communities, helping distinguish the kinds of shared spaces, published material and interaction available through this particular platform.

The official Flickr site includes sections for Groups.
