Element

Element builds communication tools around the Matrix protocol, with products for organisations that need control over their messaging infrastructure.

The service is relevant when people need a shared way to communicate with the contacts or groups involved in a conversation. Its communication functions include Matrix messaging, Team communication and Self-hosting options, which help identify how it fits the participants' intended use of a messaging service.
