Khan Academy provides educational lessons, practice activities and learning resources. Its subjects include mathematics, science and other foundational areas. Learners, parents and teachers can explore explanations and exercises suited to different stages of study. Australian users can use the material as supplementary learning while checking how topics align with their own curriculum or course.
Khan Academy organises learning material around subjects and skills. An individual lesson or exercise is most useful when related to the topic being studied and the learner's current understanding. Its structured subject material provides a route from an explanation to practice, allowing a learner to concentrate on the area they want to understand more clearly.
It is useful for exploring a subject, learning activity or skill-development goal. Its focus includes Lessons and explanations, Practice activities and Foundational school subjects, helping a learner connect the broad educational offering with the individual course, level or format relevant to the learning enquiry.
On Khan Academy, the study and learning areas shown on the official site include Math, Test prep and Science.
